Sharon Carpenter

Sharon serves as the Office Manager at St. Paul School. She has a BA in English Literature and a Master’s in Public Administration with a non-profit focus. She received both degrees from SUNY Brockport. Sharon shared that the day she began looking for work, the position of Office Manager at St. Paul opened. The Lord obviously had a plan for Sharon’s future and we, at St. Paul, are the beneficiaries on a daily basis.
An interesting side story to her life is, while growing up in Minnesota, Sharon attended a St. Paul Lutheran Elementary School located just across the street from her home. One can imagine her excitement when she moved to our area and found she was just a few minutes away from another St. Paul Lutheran school. Now what are the chances?
When not donning the many hats one must wear as our school Office Manager, Sharon loves to cook, travel, and spend time with her family. Her children, Brent (17) graduated from St. Paul and Amanda (10) attends St. Paul School.
When asked if anything particular brought her to St. Paul School, in addition to the above, Sharon wrote,
“I just could not miss a chance to work in this wonderful environment.”
As for a mission or goal, Sharon shared that she is dedicated to providing a peaceful, Christian environment to everyone who enters the school, and use the talents God gave her to serve our school to the best of her ability.
Sharon is a delightful woman who signs her emails “Cheerfully in Christ.” What a pleasant statement, one that makes you smile every single time you read it. She is the perfect fit for the position she holds at St. Paul and we are blessed to have her as our Office Manager.
