BAPTISMS, WEDDINGS, & FUNERALS

What is the Sacrament of Baptism?

It’s an act of God that unites us with the risen Christ and makes us members of God’s family.

Through water filled with the power of God’s Word, Baptism:

  • Washes away the guilt of our sins

  • Bestows God’s grace upon us

  • Delivers us from the power of death

  • Promises us eternal life in God’s Kingdom

Baptism is:

  • A sign of God’s love and will that we be reborn in the image of Christ our Savior.

  • A deed by God that enables us to live according to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

If you are interested in baptism and would like to make arrangements,

Weddings

“And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.” Colossians 3:14-15

Funeral or Memorial Services

At St. Paul, we remember, honor and celebrate the deceased individual into eternal life with a service specifically chosen by family members that might include remembrances, scripture readings and hymns/songs.  We work mostly in conjunction with the funeral home to make arrangements of the service.

If you have a Pastoral need for your family, please reach out to Pastor Mark Ball at pastorBall@stpaulhilton.org

As a means to prepare for death at anytime in the future, we offer the attached document that would be so helpful in arranging the service.  Please feel free to drop the document off to the Church Office at any time.
