Ministry Opportunities
One of our ministry targets at St. Paul is: We are all involved in ministry. This doesn’t mean that we are all doing the same thing, or we are all giving the same amount of time, but it does mean that growing in our faith requires us to live it out.
With that in mind, St. Paul offers many different ministry opportunities. If you don’t find what you are looking for here, please ask!
Below are some of our ministries. This is NOT an exhaustive list, but a start.
Please contact our Church Office Team at churchoffice@stpaulhilton.org to find out how to best get started with any
of these.

School Ministry
Our school serving children ages 2 through 8th grade is our largest ministry to the community. We are always looking for individuals who can read with students, lead clubs, offer unique gifts and talents, be an extra set of hands in a classroom, and coach a sport. By sharing their gifts and talents, the members of our church make our school like no other!

Music Ministry
Music transforms our worship experience. We welcome all styles of music and would love to add vocalists and musicians to our team. We desire to have choirs, praise teams and solo leaders.

AV Ministry
This team broadcasts worship and special events, creates visuals, helps provide the best possible sound for our worshippers. We are always looking for more
techy, creative people for this team.

Hands in Service
St. Paul has a heart for our community. We try to show that through many community service activities including a strong commitment to keeping the Hilton
Food Shelf operating. If you like to serve the community you live in, this is the right ministry for you.

Trustees (Buildings & Grounds)
St. Paul has such an active campus and relies on volunteers to maintain its facility and grounds. We always need handy, hardworking people, both skilled
and unskilled helpers. We try our best to do all of our own maintenance to keep our giving aimed at outside ministries.

Funeral & Wedding Coordinators
Powerful ministry happens at these major times of transition for families. Our coordinators work in teams to support families by welcoming them to St. Paul and helping make these moments run as smoothly as possible.

Meal Ministry
We are there for each other. By providing meals for families who have a loved one in the hospital, or to support a senior who is struggling, or to encourage
someone who has recently become unemployed, we share the love of Christ with our Church Family. Meal Ministry Members help prepare and deliver meals that show mercy and care for others.

Quilts for Christ
One of our most prolific ministries, our Quilters work as a team to create blankets that are shipped all around the world to people in need. This ministry partners with many other churches in the region and Lutheran World Relief to make a local and global impact.

Gospel Outreach
We are always making intentional effort to connect with our community. Gospel Outreach offers programs like Faith in Bloom (plant delivery) or In His Steps (prayer walks) while also coordinating events like free community movie nights.
