Dave Spiehler

St. Paul Lutheran School was fortunate to have our Principal, David Spiehler join the school staff during the summer of 2018 when he came on board as our part-time Development Director. Within a short time, the staff came to know Dave as a great teammate who was quick to build friendships and first to offer a hand of help.
On July 1, 2019, Mr. Spiehler was appointed to the position of Interim Principal for the 2019-2020 school year. In December 2019, he was confirmed by congregational vote as seated Principal.
David comes to St. Paul with a wealth of non-public school experience as he served eight years as the Dean of Admissions, Marketing, and Financial Aid at Allendale Columbia School for eight years.
In addition, he held the position of Athletic Director at McQuaid Jesuit School for thirteen years.
While seen as a visionary, but first caring, he has all the skills to continue to build our school’s legacy of partnering with parents to raise their children to know and love Jesus.
David and his wife Noreen reside in Canandaigua with their three children, Brady (19), Paige (16) and Emma (10).
