Sharon Smith

God works in mysterious ways. We see this played out perfectly in the way that our wonderful
treasurer, Sharon Smith, was brought to us.
A native to Hilton, Sharon graduated from Hilton High School and continued on at RIT where
she studied Accounting.
Sharon was first brought to worship at St. Paul by Tom Smith who later became her husband.
Feeling the undeniable sense of community and comradery here, she knew this was just the
place for her. Being the generous soul that she is, Sharon had volunteered to change our
outdated spreadsheet system over to something more manageable. After completing this
project, our treasurer position had just opened up and there was no better fit than Sharon! God
had planned for us and we are so grateful.
Sharon still resides in Hilton with her husband. She is the proud mother of two sons, one of who
lives in North Carolina and the other who lives right here in Rochester. When Sharon isn’t
serving St. Paul, she loves to golf, read, quilt, and garden. She is also an active member of the
bell choir at our church!
Sharon plans to continue her work with St. Paul and to keep her bright shining light in the office.
