Hannah Kruger

2nd Grade Teacher

Hannah has embarked on teaching the second graders here at St. Paul having previously taught Pre-School, Kindergarten, and sixth grade. She comes to us with a background of six years teaching experience in Pre-School through Middle School. She taught at Expressive Beginnings in Henrietta from 2012-2015. In 2016, she was a substitute teacher in the city of Rochester.
She received her BA in 1-6th grade (General Education & Special Ed.). This was followed by her Master’s in Literacy Education. Both degrees from SUNY Brockport. She also received certification in Early Childhood by taking several additional courses at Brockport.
Hannah's two children currently attend St. Paul School. Her hobbies are cooking/baking, reading, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
When asked what brought her to St. Paul, Hannah’s story is interesting. She heard about the position and she admits she was wary of interviewing at a private school, but after meeting Pastor Ball and touring the school, she fell in love. She was very impressed by St. Paul’s mission and excited to be able to be in an environment that afforded her the opportunity to speak freely about Jesus.
Hannah said that she very much appreciates the opportunity to teach the children, freely and without condition. She is very happy she has found St. Paul and we certainly are as well. God worked his magic again when he sent this fine young woman to us.
