Jodie Farley

4rth Grade Teacher
Called September 1999

Jodie is our veteran teacher with twenty years at St. Paul under her belt. She went to Concordia College in Bronxville, NY graduating in 1998. This qualifies her to be a Lutheran Educator and she is one of three Called teachers at St. Paul. Jodie then obtained her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from SUNY, Brockport in 2004 and she has her New York State certification.
Prior to coming to St. Paul, Jodie taught at Immanuel Lutheran School in Mt. Vernon for six months.
She is married to Chris Farley and in their spare time they like to travel as well as attend concerts. She also enjoys making decorative signs for a hobby.
What brought Jodie to St. Paul was her family. She wanted to find a school closer to them as she grew up in Niagara County. She loves going “home” to the farm during the summer and helping out during the harvest season.
God obviously had a plan for both Jodie and St. Paul when he led her to us. She is a backbone of the school as she shares her experiences with newer members of the staff. Her past years here are worth noting.
1999-2001, she taught 5th and 6th grade
2001-2003, 5th grade
2003-2016, Kindergarten
2016-2018, 3rd and 4th grade
She shared that her goal is to have each student aspire to living a life of service and good works.
A wonderful goal!!
It is our hope that Jodie will be with St. Paul for many, many years to come as she is a true blessing for our school.
