Dan Behan

ELA & Social Studies Teacher 5-8

Am I my brother’s keeper? This is a question Mr. Behan will invite all of his middle school English Language Arts students to consider.

Dan Behan brings a wealth of experience and passion with him to St. Paul Lutheran School. Prior to joining the St. Paul team, he spent 24 years at McQuaid Jesuit serving as a classroom teacher and as middle school principal. Most recently he has been an academic coach at Monroe Community College and a MentorU Program Specialist at Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Mr. Behan is excited to return to the middle school ranks. He sees the middle grades as "a pivotal stage academically, emotionally, and spiritually."

“I know to my very soul that nothing is more fulfilling to me than the challenges and rewards of the Christians School classroom and community,” Behan said. “There I am able to interact with students each day with the common goal of using my faith, skill set, and personality to be a positive role model and prepare students for a life of faith and service in the world.”
