Christine has served as our School Nurse for two years; however, her involvement with St. Paul has been long standing as her three girls, Julia, Maggie, and Leah, have attended, or are currently attending our school.
She received her LPN degree in 1995 from Rochester School of Practical Nursing and her BSN from Roberts Wesleyan College in 2000.
Somehow, Christine finds time to work part-time for both the University of Rochester as well as at Strong West Emergency Department located in Brockport.
Married to her husband, Joel for 24 years they will be celebrating a milestone anniversary in June. The Zastrow family enjoys outdoor living as often as possible.
The Zastrows were referred to St. Paul through friends. Quickly they found a home here.
When asked what she might like to share, Christine wrote,
“I think people and relationships are extremely important. I like to talk to people face-to-face and actually get to know the person. I am always striving to try to find ways to live the Gospel of Christ applying it to everyday life. I feel that today, more than at other times, people are lonely and a relationship with God is the only true source of joy or wholeness.”
Once again, God has sent us a treasure. We are so fortunate to have people such as Christine caring for our children.
