Amy Colombo

Pre-K Teacher

Amy joined the St. Paul team in 2020.

Amy is one of our dedicated PreK teachers and is no stranger to St. Paul. Her children attended St. Paul School in their elementary years. Amy spent every Friday serving pizza and volunteering in many capacities for over 7 years, including starting the initiative, Project Forget Me Not. PFMN is a St. Paul ministry that makes handmade cards for homebound friends and elderly living in local nursing homes.

Amy is passionate about making her classroom colorful, bright and engaging! Amy’s previous education and career is in the nursing field however God has always led her to teach in some capacity. Amy has written and presented Rise Above Anti-Bullying assembly for middle school age students as well as the writer of an 8-week girls’ empowerment curriculum. Amy has worked in local schools for the past ten years building stronger bonds and social emotional skills within the classroom through her program and workshops. Amy is enjoying her teaching position here at St. Paul and sharing her faith and the good news of Jesus Christ.

Outside of teaching, Amy loves spending time with her husband, children, family, friends and animals. She loves being creative, baking, and eating! Amy and her family reside in Hilton.
